AGENDA DESCRIPTION: The agenda descriptions are intended to give notice, to members of the public, of a general summary of items of business to be transacted or discussed.

Any person wishing to address the Landscape Advisory Committee on any matter, whether or not it appears on this agenda, may do so under the appropriate section of the agenda. Whenever possible, lengthy testimony should be presented to the Committee in writing (12 copies) and only pertinent points presented orally. Requests to speak to items on the agenda shall be heard at the appropriate point on the agenda; requests to speak about subjects not on the agenda will be heard during the Public Comment section of the meeting.

A. Selection of a Committee Chair

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Select a member to serve as chair of the Landscape Advisory Committee, for the purpose of calling to order and presiding over meetings. The chair’s term will be for one year, elapsing in July 2008.

B. Overview of the Committee’s Purpose and Role

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Discuss committee responsibilities and review the City Tree Ordinance (see attached).

C. Ridge Route Linear Park – Conceptual Plans

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Receive presentation and provide initial comments on the conceptual plans for the Ridge Route Linear Park (to be distributed at meeting).
