AGENDA DESCRIPTION: The Agenda descriptions are intended to give notice, to members of the public, of a general summary of items of business to be transacted or discussed.
Any person wishing to address the Community Services Committee on any matter, whether or not it appears on this agenda, may do so under the appropriate section of the agenda. Whenever possible, lengthy testimony should be presented to the Committee in writing (12 copies) and only pertinent points presented orally. Requests to speak to items on the agenda shall be heard at the appropriate point on the agenda; requests to speak about subjects not on the agenda will be heard during the Public Comment section of the meeting.

A. Social Service and Transportation Grant Applications
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Review the recommendations of the Transportation Services and Social Services subcommittees, and approve recommendations to the City Council to allocate up to $29,000 in social service and transportation grants.
B. City Newsletter
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Discuss and, if appropriate, recommend modifications to the name and/or distribution of the City newsletter.
C. Resident Park Pass Buydown Pilot Program: Orange County Annual Day Use Regional Park Entry Passes
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Consider and recommend approval to the City Council of a pilot program to buydown the cost of Orange County Annual Day Use Regional Park Entry passes from $30 to $15 for up to 500 residents

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Consider moving the date and time of Community Services Committee meetings
