A. The recap of the September 13th meeting is attached for the

review and approval of the committee.

V. COMMITTEE BUSINESS

A. Finalize FY 05-06 Schedule for Trips and Programs

Proposed Action: The committee to set date and begin to finalize plans for the Vietnamese and Korean Culture Trip in February 2006 and the Armenian-Polish Cultural Trip in May. (See Attachment 1)

B. Critique of the “Asian Indians in America” Program

Proposed Action: Committee to review the program and make recommendations for upcoming events.

C. Holiday Celebration Preparations

Proposed Action: The committee will assign a subcommittee to work with staff in meeting with club representatives that have agreed to participate in the celebration. The meetings will help to coordinate the activities, displays and layout for council chambers. The list of clubs that have agreed to participate is attached for review by the Committee. (Attachment 2).

C. Sister City Program

Proposed Action: Committee Member Leacarol Shinder will update the Committee on her research on the Sister City Programs of other cities.
