Proposed Action: Committee to finalize programs, trips, attached schedule and make a recommendation to the City Council for their consideration at the June 16th meeting.

B. Committee Member Victor Kay presentation on “Juneteenth.”

Proposed Action: No action item

C. Proclamation Race Equality Week September 27 to October 2, 2004

Proposed Action: Committee to recommend that the City

Council adopt a Proclamation designating September 27 to

October 2, 2004 Racial Equality Week.

D. Resignation of Committee Member John Bradley

Proposed Action: Committee to discuss potential candidates for appointment to the Human Relations Committee.

E. African American Heritage Trip in February 2004

Proposed Action: Committee to discuss the potential for a trip to the Black History Museum in Exposition Park.
