AGENDA DESCRIPTION: The Agenda descriptions are intended to give notice, to members of the public, of a general summary of items of business to be transacted or discussed. 

Any person wishing to address the Planning Advisory Committee on any matter, whether or not it appears on this agenda, may do so under the appropriate section of the agenda.   Whenever possible, lengthy testimony should be presented to the Committee in writing (12 copies) and only pertinent points presented orally.  Requests to speak to items on the agenda shall be heard at the appropriate point on the agenda; requests to speak about subjects not on the agenda will be heard during the Public Comment section of the meeting.

A. Great Park Presentation

Proposed Action: City of Irvine Staff will provide a summary of the Great Park proposal for the reuse of the former El Toro MCAS site.

B. General Plan Amendments: Housing, Land Use, Conservation and   Circulation Element    

Proposed Action: Review the proposed General Plan revisions relating to the City’s Housing Element and proposed supplemental implementation measures to support the City’s stormwater program and make a recommendation to City Council

A. Old Leisure World Administration Building Site – no application received

B. Leisure Diner Proposal

C. Paddle Tennis Courts at Gate 12 East – initial planning discussion; no application received

D. El Toro Street Landscape and Pedestrian Improvements

E. City Attorney’s land use law presentation – rescheduled for August meeting
