AGENDA DESCRIPTION: The Agenda descriptions are intended to give notice, to members of the public, of a general summary of items of business to be transacted or discussed.
Any person wishing to address the Community Services Committee on any matter, whether or not it appears on this agenda, may do so under the appropriate section of the agenda. Whenever possible, lengthy testimony should be presented to the Committee in writing (12 copies) and only pertinent points presented orally. Requests to speak to items on the agenda shall be heard at the appropriate point on the agenda; requests to speak about subjects not on the agenda will be heard during the Public Comment section of the meeting.

A. FY 02/03 Community Services Grants Awards
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Review the recommendations of the Social Services and Transportation subcommittees and recommend that the City Council award up to $115,000 in Community Services grants budgeted in Fiscal Year 02/03.
B. Privacy Protection Subcommittee FY 02/03 Work Plan
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the revised FY 02/03 Work Plan of the Privacy Protection Subcommittee.
C. City Transportation Programs
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Review staff recommendations for extending the pilot taxi voucher service to June 30, 2003 and adopting proposed program modifications, including potential new services, and recommend approval of the extension and modifications by the City Council. (HANDOUT WILL BE PROVIDED AT THE MEETING.)
