AGENDA DESCRIPTION: The Agenda descriptions are intended to give notice, to members of the public, of a general summary of items of business to be transacted or discussed. 

 

Any person wishing to address the Planning Advisory Committee on any matter, whether or not it appears on this agenda, may do so under the appropriate section of the agenda.   Whenever possible, lengthy testimony should be presented to the Committee in writing (12 copies) and only pertinent points presented orally.  Requests to speak to items on the agenda shall be heard at the appropriate point on the agenda; requests to speak about subjects not on the agenda will be heard during the Public Comment section of the meeting.

A. Cingular Wireless: Cell Site Expansion - El Toro Water District Tank (CUP 286)

Cingular Wireless is seeking to expand their existing cellular site (formerly AT&T Wireless) located adjacent to the El Toro Water District storage tank located at 24141 Moulton Parkway. The proposal will add three additional antennas to the existing mono-pine antenna structure.  The required support equipment will be located in the existing equipment lease area.

 

Recommended Action: Review the proposed cellular site addition and recommend approval of Conditional Use Permit (CUP 286) to City Council subject to the recommended conditions of approval.

 

B. City Planning Process and Eminent Domain Presentation

Staff will provide presentation on the City’s planning process and the role and restrictions relating to the use of eminent domain in California.

 

Recommended Action: Informational item, no action required.
