City Council Advisory Committees
The City Council has established three advisory committees - Community Services, Land Use/ Design Review and Public Safety. Each committee has eleven members and meets once per month.

. Fire Zone Map
The state and the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) have released a map identifying fire severity zones - very high, high and moderate - in the City of Laguna Woods.  The City is considering action related to construction activities in these zones.

Get Library Books on Your Kindle

If you have a kindle with wireless capability, a library card and pin number, a computer and a wireless connection, you can download free library books to your Kindle. The digital bookmobile will be at city hall on Saturday 4, 2011 (10 a.m. - 4 p.m.) to provide training and demonstrations about how to download books on a variety of electric devices. Trauma Intervention Program (TIP)
TIP is looking for caring people willing to be part of a team of citizen volunteers trained to provide emotional and practical support to the victims of traumatic events. Click here for a program flyer.

Laguna Woods Village has submitted a specific plan application for the Urban Activity Center (UAC). The UAC consists of appxomiately 70 acres in three non-contigous areas off Moulton Parkway.

Urban Activity Center Background
The Laguna Woods General Plan designates approximately 69 acres in the city owned by Laguna Woods Village as Urban Activity Center (UAC). This designation requires the City to approve a specific plan before any new development can occur on the property.

The purpose of the Laguna Woods Green Homes program is to encourage and reward residents who incorporate sustainable practices in their homes, thereby improving the environmental health of the City. There are three levels of certification.

Medical Marijuana Dispensaries
REGULATORY PERMIT APPLICATIONS NOW AVAILABLE
